As an integral part of the total educational program, the mission of the Cardington-Lincoln School District’s School Counseling Program is to advocate courageously for the academic success, for the social and emotional well being, and for the widest range of post-secondary options for each student. School counselors, in collaboration with parents and staff, will empower and assist each student in developing skills to be a successful learner and a healthy, valuable citizen in a diverse society.
The goals of the School Counseling Program are:
- To assist students in successfully navigating through the educational process while helping to prepare them for post-secondary options.
- To advocate for students by acting as a liaison to all academic departments and school services, as well as to the community.
- To provide academic advising, career and post-secondary guidance, and personal/social counseling.
The Counseling Department’s curriculum at Cardington-Lincoln Schools has been developed to meet the American School Counselor Association (ASCA) Standards.

Preparing for College?
Naviance is our new and amazing college and career readiness tool. From college searches to career highlight videos to personality discovery quizzes, we are excited to offer such a great system for students and families. Please call or stop by the guidance office if you have additional questions.
The website is accessible from all types of devices and typically students’ username/password for Naviance is the same as his/her Power School login info. **Please note: passwords which contain less than 6 digits, students will need to fill in the spaces with zeros. For example, if my password is 637, then I need to adjust it to 000637 for Naviance purposes.
If you have trouble logging in, please calls the guidance office or stop in.
